The Security Inspection Department (K9), the General Directorate of Services and Equipment of Dubai Police, announced the organization of the K9 International Forum in March next year, with the participation of a group of international experts in the training of police dogs to exchange scientific knowledge and expertise.

The forum will discuss best international practices in the use of sniffer dogs in the security work and ways of using technology and modern technologies to facilitate communication between dogs and police with experts from the Arab world and the world.

The forum will focus on developing common standards and guidelines for training police dogs and inspection methods, highlighting the risks faced by trainers in performing security tasks and developing proposals that support health and security efforts.

Dubai police have used police dogs in a variety of tasks, including riot control, escorts, specialized teams, raid teams and trackers, as well as finding causes of fire, loss, search for bodies, rescue and other tasks.
